We Offer:
~ Arkansas Better Chance Preschool (ABC) ~
Arkansas’ pre-k program, the Arkansas Better Chance (ABC) program, is provided in either center-based classrooms or through the Home Instruction Program for Parents of Preschool Youngsters (HIPPPY). Program resources come from public school dollars, an excise tax on beer, and child care and development funding. ABC provides services for children from low-income families from birth to age five. In recent years, state funding for pre-k has increased steadily, resulting in greater access to the program. ABC also provides financial resources to its programs for teacher professional development, including college degrees.
~ A 3 Star Facilities with Better Beginning ~
Kid to Kid is a 3 Star Better Beginnings Center. Kid to Kid CDC has successfully completed the certification process, which has allowed us to achieve a three star rating. Our certification is located in our main office. Better Beginnings is a multistep certification process that begins with completion of the Better Beginnings Application Checklist (PDF). We use this self-assessment checklist to identify requirements we need to meet in order to receive certification.
~ A License Speech-Language Pathologist on Site ~
Curtis Chatham, MCD, CCC-SLP is our license Speech-Language Pathologist who comes to Kid to Kid Child Development Center 3 times a week to assist us in identifying those children with speech problems. Early detection is a plus, thus, our parents can make a determination as to the type of assistance’s they can get for their child. We have the best security setup! there are monitors in every classroom, and control access to the building. Your child is safe with us.
~ We have a Full-service Kitchen ~
Oh, we don’t nuke (use a Microwave) anything! We have a fully functional, full-service kitchen. So, the food is better, and the children have a blast eating what’s prepared for them.
